Question by : What is the difference between the iPad 2 and iPad 3?
I heard that the iPad 3 is coming out on March 7, and it is going to be $ 500.00. When it comes out, the iPad 2 will be $ 400.00. Please tell me the difference, I want to know if I should get an iPad 2 and save money, or if the iPad 3 is worth it

The iPad 3 isn’t coming out on March 7. There is an Apple event scheduled that day and it is speculated that a new iPad will be launched. Whether it is an iPad HD or iPad 3 or iPad 2S is speculative. Rumors have been circulating about the specs, but nothing has officially been announced by Apple. If the rumors are correct, March 7th will be the day Apple announces it. The device will then take another week or two to ship to stores. Apple is very secretive prior to their announcements.
